Software as a Service (SaaS)

Software as a service are software services built by companies that are available for licensing on a subscription basis. In it, buyers have to pay monthly or quarterly to keep using the software. As the software is centrally hosted, it reduces installation issues and maintenance problems.

Some examples of SaaS are: Hubspot, Slack, Dropbox, MailChimp, etc.
